The Hanami Festival is a unique event on the cultural map of the capital - an outdoor celebration of Japanese culture that combines elements of a picnic, convention, festival and fair.

 This year, once again, the festival lasts for TWO DAYS - Saturday and Sunday - and is organized in close cooperation with the PAN Botanical Garden in Powsin as the crowning event of Japan Month.

 The festival program will include PRELECTIONS and LECTURES in the halls of the Botanica Cafe&Bistro building, and a large tent full of WORKSHOPS and activities for children and adults will be located on the festival grounds.

 A new feature, however, will be an EXHIBITION of kimonos and Japanese arts and crafts organized by the Ikigai Foundation - details coming soon, be sure to follow the posts on the event!

 We encourage you to support the Festival by buying pre-sale tickets through the drop box - with the funds raised we will be able to invite more guests: artists, martial arts masters or speakers.
