Together with our Czech partners, including Prof. Vitezslav Plasek and Hana Reznarov\u00e1 (briologists), Prof. Grzegorz Kusza and Dr. Katarzyna Luczak (soil scientists), we are monitoring how vegetation regeneration and succession is progressing on the spruce and beech areas on the slopes burned to the ground in July 2022. After a period dominated by mosses, the currently burned areas are covered with birch young trees.
