These analyses were enriched by mathematical considerations taking into account the circular symmetry of the trunk of woody plants. This made it possible to answer the question of how the development of cambial derivatives is possible as the initiation layer of the vascular cambium moves away from the stem core, which is due to the dividing activity of the cambium. It was found that the development of wood fibers follows the principles of circular symmetry of the stem, which is possible due to changes in the cells of the radial system - the expansion of sectors containing cells of the axial system (wood fibers) is associated with a decrease in the tangential dimension of the rays in the differentiation zone. Therefore, it was noted that it is necessary to take into account the differences in the behavior of cells of the axial and radial systems in future models of radial growth of deciduous trees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Miodek A.<\/strong>, <strong>Honey A.P.<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Kojs P<\/strong>.
