The purpose of the paper was to learn about the diversity of <span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">syntaxonomic<\/span>\u00a0The high mountain and subnival vegetation of the Pamiro-Alaya mountains and the western part of the range\u00a0<span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Tienshan<\/span>. Based on the analysis of 303 phytosociological images, after applying multidimensional scaling (<span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">NMDS<\/span>) and the dividing algorithm, fifteen plant communities were defined, including 13 new ones. In addition, three plant communities without rank were distinguished. Three new vegetation associations were established:\u00a0<em><span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Oxytropido<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">savellanicae-Nepetion<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">pamiricae<\/span> <\/em>For high-altitude subnival vegetation, <em><span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Stipo<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">regelianae-Ptilagrostion<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">malyschevii<\/span><\/em>\u00a0For pinnate grassland and dwarf mountain tundra and<em>\u00a0<span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Poo<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">alpinae-Bistortion<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">ellipticae<\/span><\/em>\u00a0For mesophilic alpine pastures. The main factors differentiating the species composition of the studied vegetation are the average daily temperature range, the sum of annual precipitation, the seasonality of precipitation, the temperature of the driest quarter and the precipitation of the coldest quarter. Further studies in neighboring regions such as the Hindu Kush,\u00a0<span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Kopet-dagh<\/span>\u00a0and Altai, will be implemented to build a coherent hierarchical system of high-mountain grasslands and vegetation\u00a0<span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Khazmophytic<\/span>.
