The then director for general affairs of the PAN Botanical Garden Wieslaw Gawry\u015b initiated work on the creation of a regional Red List and later a Red Book of vascular plants of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2019-2020:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>continued to assign threat categories to species found in Mazowieckie province according to IUCN international guidelines;<\/li>\n<li>The last geobotanical \"white spots\" on the territory of the province (the former Ciechanow v., the Kurpiowska Forest, some areas of the Kozienicka Forest outside the reserves, etc.) were indicated;<\/li>\n<li>collected and preliminarily compiled data for the historical outline of floristic research in the lands of today's Mazovian province.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Scheduled for 2020, the closure of the Red List work was postponed due to the pandemic. Despite sanitary restrictions, verification of selected sites in the field was carried out.
