{"id":71152,"date":"2020-11-25T17:12:38","date_gmt":"2020-11-25T16:12:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ogrod-powsin.pl\/artykul-o-pseudostepach\/"},"modified":"2024-10-27T06:33:33","modified_gmt":"2024-10-27T05:33:33","slug":"article-on-pseudosteps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ogrod.pan.pl\/en\/artykul-o-pseudostepach\/","title":{"rendered":"Article on pseudosteps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new issue of the international journal Tuexenia (No. 40) features an article by scientists of the PAN Botanical Garden - CZRB in Powsin, titled \"The Botanical Garden of Powsin. \"<em>Pseudosteppes and related grassland vegetation in the Pamir-Alai and western Tian Shan Mts - the borderland of the Irano-Turanian and Euro-Siberian regions<\/em>\". This is the first synthesis of its kind in Asia (Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan) presenting seven communities belonging to pseudosteps, which belong to grassland vegetation, but unlike steppes develop in a zone where woody vegetation can also occur. In addition to pseudosteps, three typical steppes and three grassland communities of lowland, mountain and alpine zones were described.
